PROVINCIAL LOCKDOWN
Submitted By Tanya Dunford on Mon 12 21, 20
Today, the provincial government announced that at 12:01 a.m. on December 26th the entire province will move to lockdown for 28 days. (Northern Ontario rules do not apply to us.)

This means that hockey will not start after the Christmas holidays. We are currently expecting to begin scheduling teams again the week of January 25th but that will depend on whether or not the lockdown is extended, or if we're moved back to the green, yellow or orange provincial system.

If we remain in grey (lockdown) or only get moved to red, hockey will not be allowed to start.

We will keep everyone updated as we get more information and we urge you to keep an eye on the calendar and our website for more information.

On behalf of the Lakefield Minor Hockey Executive, we want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and we hope you stay safe and healthy.
