How to Avoid the $100 Late Fee
I've had a few people reach out for help on how to avoid the $100 late fee.
Some people don't have the money to sign up for hockey right now and some are planning summer trips that means money isn't available for hockey right now.
THAT'S PERFECTLY FINE!
Sign up and select the eTransfer option. You do not have to pay any money right now if you select eTransfer as your payment option.
You don't have to put down a deposit right away (even though the system may look like they're taking a payment - it can't if you choose eTransfer) and you can change your mind later and withdraw from hockey altogether if you let us know by October 1st. You can also change your mind later and pay manually with a credit card.
Signing up as early as possible and the point of a late fee at all, is because we need to know what our teams are going to be very early. If everyone waits until September to sign up on us, we may not have enough ice. It's one of the things we struggle with every year but you can help us by signing up as early as possible.
We know that everything is expensive right now and with summer here, you're not thinking about paying for hockey, but all you have to do is sign up if there's even a chance you want to play and you'll save that $100 and help us out!
Thanks. The price goes up the second midnight hits on July 1st. Don't get stuck with the fee this year.
